  1. Anyone else try to tee off from the back tees at Rivers Edge? Boy, talk about a challenge! An impressive 7000 yard stretch. How often do they refresh the bentgrass greens? They were in superb condition when I played last week. Hats off to Arnold Palmer, his design is absolute class. Also, kudos to the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for maintaining the natural beauty. Spotted a couple of foxes on my last visit!

  2. Just came back from a weekend at Rivers Edge and I’m in awe! No wonder they call it ‘Arnold’s Gift’. The greens are like carpets and the landscape is jaw-dropping. I’ve been golfing for 20 years, but that 6th, ‘Hell’s Island’, what a challenge! Best Par 5 I’ve faced. Can’t wait to get back again!
